Who can join Salto Gymastics
We offer programmes for girls and boys age 5 and over. Not everyone needs to join as a 5-year-old though, we can easily accommodate children or teenagers who have not done gymnastics before. Our recreational classes for Primary School children take place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Our Teen classes take place on Monday evenings. We also run GymABLE classes and Special Olympics Rhythmic Gymnastics classes for children and teenagers on Mondays

When & where do the classes take place
We run classes from Monday to Saturday at our dedicated facility at Units 8 & 9, Ballinacurra Business Park, Midleton.

What does it cost?
The annual enrolment fee is €80. This covers membership of Salto Gymnastics, affiliation to Gymnastics Ireland and insurance. This fee covers you from September-August and must be paid in full irrespective of when you join in the year.
The term fee varies depending on what class(es) you are doing & we usually run 2 x 18 week terms.

What should gymnasts wear?
It is recommended that the gymnasts wear a leotard with shorts/leggings or a t-shirt and shorts/leggings/tracksuit pants.
Club gear can be bought on our ProShop in the Customer Portal however its not compulsory for recreational gymnasts. All students competing with the club at Gymnastics Ireland events are required to wear the Salto leotard and gear.
The gymnasts are not allowed to train in hooded tops, jeans or skirts. The gymnasts must wear socks or gymnastics shoes or trampoline shoes. The socks with grips are also suitable. All jewellery must be removed and long hair must be tied up neatly and securely.

Where can i buy the club leotard or gear
You can buy club leotards & shorts on our club ProShop in the customer portal.
We are currently changing to a new supplier for everything else.

Do gymnasts take part in competitions?
Yes. Some of our members take part in the Gymnastics Ireland (GI) National Series. Others take part in the GI GymSTART Floor & Vault competitions. We also participate in ‘The Floor’, the GI Display Event. We also run in-club competitions that are open to all of our members.

Do you run camps?
Yes, we run member only camps at Easter & Halloween and our Summer camps are open to non-members. Camps can be booked on our customer portal.

Do you run birthday parties?
Currently, we run parties for members only during the summer months.
